Charin Health Services is a Georgia state provider of professional nursing care for medically fragile children in the comfort and security of their homes through the Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP).
GAPP offers in-home nursing and personal care services, including assistance with daily activities, monitoring of vital signs, ambulation and transfers, IV therapies, wound care, tube feedings, and gastrointestinal disorders.
To qualify for GAPP, children must be under the age of 21 and medically eligible for Medicaid, meeting the same level of care required for hospital or skilled nursing facility admission. The program is administered by the Georgia Department of Community Health (DCH).
